2019 Concerts

Sunday 3 March 2019 – Year 11 and 12 Music Workshop

  • Date: Sunday 3 March 2019, 9:30am to 12:30pm

  • Venue: Callaway Auditorium, School of Music, University of Western Australia – click here for a map.

  • Orchestra players will supply morning tea.

  • The entry cost is $10 for students and $5 for parents/guardians

  • Conductor: Prof Alan Lourens

  • Piano: Shuan Hern Lee

  • Harpsichord: Yoon Sen Lee

  • Violins: Jocelyn Cullingford and Sandra Vaughan

  • Flute: Jenny Lourens

Program – selections from the following works on the senior high school music syllabus (ATAR works).  Note, not all works will be performed in full.

  • Bach: Concerto for Two Violins in D minor, BWV 1043

  • Bach: Brandenburg Concerto No 5 in D Major

  • Beethoven: Piano Concerto No. 3 in C minor, Op. 37- 1st movement

  • Ravel: Piano Concerto in G Major
